Welcome, Founding Members

Current Club clients get the first chance to join our Canine Behavior & Enrichment Memberships, before they open to anyone else.

A Personal Welcome

For 19 years, Seattle families have trusted us with their dogs and cats, and many of you have been with us for most of that time.

This fall, Canine Behavior & Enrichment Memberships begin opening. Before they're available to the public, a limited number of Founding Member spots in each neighborhood are reserved for current Club clients.

This page covers what's changing, where memberships open first, and what Founding Members receive.

What’s Changing (and What Isn’t)

Memberships add a new way to care for your dog, built around a recurring weekly schedule, a small dedicated Care Team, and a personalized plan that carries from one walk to the next.

What’s changing: Every membership walk is an R+ positive reinforcement walk and an R+ walk, using positive reinforcement and Fear Free-focused methods. Our Specialists are trained under a Fear Free Certified Professional dog trainer to read what your dog needs each day and adjust the walk to match, with movement, decompression, enrichment, and loose-leash practice.

What stays the same:

  • You keep access to the services you already use.
  • Your pet keeps the team they already know.
  • Joining a membership is entirely up to you.

Whether you join or continue with On-Demand care, you remain part of the Club.

A note for cat families: memberships are for dogs. Cat and small pet visits continue as usual.

Opening Neighborhood by Neighborhood

Memberships are opening neighborhood by neighborhood, with limited spots in each area to maintain quality of care and reliable coverage.

Ten Founding Member households will open in each launch area. If your neighborhood isn't in the first group, joining the waitlist tells us where to go next. Nothing about your current service changes in the meantime.

When memberships open in your neighborhood, households that have been active with us in the previous 30 days get priority.

What Founding Members Receive

Founding Members are the first ten households in each launch area to join, and the advantages of joining first stay with them.

  • Your rate, protectedYour membership rate is locked for your six-month founding period.
  • First choice of membership levelChoose how many days per week fits your dog before enrollment opens to anyone else.
  • Priority schedulingFounding Members get first priority on schedules as each neighborhood's Care Team is built.
  • First access to what's nextNew services, expanded offerings, and added capacity open to Founding Members first.

Founding Members also help shape the program. What you tell us in the first months will guide how memberships grow across Seattle.

Your founding period runs six months from the start of your membership. After that, your membership continues at standard member pricing, and your Founding Member status stays with you, including first access to new services.

Your enrollment invitation will include full membership details and pricing when memberships open in your neighborhood.

Choosing Your Membership Level

Every tier includes the same R+ Canine Behavior & Enrichment Walks from the same trained Care Team. Higher tiers add more walks each week, more scheduling control, and more member benefits.

Tier 1 —

3 days per week

45- and 60-minute walk options

Tier 2 —

4 days per week

30-, 45-, and 60-minute walk options

Tier 3 —

5 days per week

20-, 30-, 45-, and 60-minute walk options

Tier 3 members on 60-minute walks also get one Private Trail Hike each quarter in place of a regular walk.

A set weekly schedule lets your Care Team notice patterns, share observations, and build each walk on the last.

Membership pricing is all-inclusive, with the Travel & Scheduling Fee built in.

Playgroup Memberships

Playgroup has its own weekly membership, billed monthly. Its benefits and program rules are separate from Canine Behavior & Enrichment Memberships. Households can hold both.

Playgroup meets at a single location, so it's open to dogs who live within about two miles of 98155, with pick-up and drop-off included. Each group is limited to six dogs, so spaces are reserved.

If you'd like to add Playgroup or have questions about how the two memberships work together, contact our office.

Prefer On-Demand Care?

Some households have schedules that suit On-Demand care better than a weekly routine. On-Demand walks and visits remain available whether or not you join.

Your rates won't change until memberships launch in your neighborhood. At launch, On-Demand pricing will increase, and you'll keep a reduced rate for your first six months. The Travel & Sustainability Fee will also be renamed the Travel & Scheduling Fee and reduced.

What stays the same

  • On-Demand Classic Walks remain available to you
  • The team your pet knows keeps caring for them
  • You can join a membership later, though Founding Member spots are limited

If you've booked Adventures like Private Trail Hikes or Doggy Discovery Excursions with us, they stay available to you at your current rates, whether or not you join.

Your Next Step

Memberships are opening neighborhood by neighborhood, with limited spots in each area to maintain quality of care and reliable coverage. Join the waitlist to have your ZIP code counted and put your household in line for a Founding Member spot when your neighborhood launches. Joining doesn't obligate you to enroll.
